Jazzcrawl: Elena Setién
Nýggjasta plátan hjá Elenu Setién “Unfamiliar Minds” hevur vunnið stórar virðislønir síðani hon kom út í 2022. Á hesi konsertini fer Elena at spæla saman við tveimum øðrum tónleikarum úr baskalandi, Mikel Azpiroz (klaver) og Karlos Aranceui (trummur) teirra mest jazzuta sett, við sangum av fleiri ymiskum egnum plátum, eins væl og sangum hjá m.a. Nancy Sinatra og øðrum. Eisini verður ein føroyskur gestatónleikari við, sum Elena møtti á Rytmisk Musik Konsertatorium í Keypmannahavn fyri nøkrum árum síðani. Hvør man tað vera?

Hendan konsertin verður partur av einari Jazzcrawl!
Vit byrja í Auluni í Finsen og ganga síðani oman í Blábar, Perluna, Reinsaríið og Sirkus. Bólkarnir spæla max 30 minuttir í part.
Um tú ikki hevur Jazzpass kanst tú gjalda 150,- við dyrnar (har tú møtir). Atgongumerki er fyri allan túrin (5 konsertir).

Elena Setién continues with her musical career: her latest work “Unfamiliar Minds” released by the American label Thrill Jockey has just been granted an award by Musika Bulegoa, the Basque Government Music Council, with Elena receiving a statuette for the second time. In this concert, Elena will be accompanied by fellow Basque musicians Mikel Azpiroz on keyboards and Karlos Arancegui on drums, inits most jazzy format. There will also be a guest appearance from a Faroe Islands based musician that Elena met back in her years in Rytmisk musik konservatorium in Copenhagen. They will play songs from their entire repertoire and will also combine it with songs from the repertoire of Nancy Sinatra and artists of the time. A concert tailor-made for the occasion that you can’t miss.

We start in Aulan and then we walk from there to Blábar, Perlan, Reinsaríið and Sirkus. The bands in each place will play maximum 30 minutes. We hope you will join us from beginning to the end!
