VETRARJAZZ 2026 – DeBorah, a capella (US/DK)

Tá ið DeBorah var tólv ára gomul, hevði hon ein tónleika lærara, sum legði merki til hennara listagávur. Hann tók sær tíð at undirvísa og vegleiða hana, so hon kundi mennast til ein solist. Hetta førdi við sær, at í student byrjaði at spæla sjónleik og singja Arias. Nú býr hon í Keypmannahavn og hevur hon framført á mangar kirkju konsertir, bæði til brúdleyp og annað viðkomandi.

Tá ið hon fyrstu ferð kom til Keypmannahavnar, byrjaði hon at framføra á Strøget, har hon skjótt fangaði áhugan hjá fleiri og fólk savnaðist at syngja saman við henni. Hennara størsta gleði er gospel- og kærleikssangur, og øll eru vælkomin at luttaka og singja við. Halleluja!

At twelve years old, DeBorah had a music teacher who noticed her talent and took the time to teach and nurture her to become a soloist. As a result, she began to receive parts in musical theater and singing Arias, throughout her high school and college years. Later in her Copenhagen life she Has sung at many concerts in Churches for weddings and other services.
When she first came to Copenhagen she began busking on Strøget and large crowds gathered to singwith her. Her joy is Gospel music and Love songs and you are invited to come and lift up a Loudvoice in praise. Hallelujah!
